A New Office & A New Phone- Is That Too Much To Ask For?

Today I am wishing I was working from one of these offices.....
Now, if I had an office that nice I would definitely need a new phone. In real life I cannot have an iPhone due to my uncanny ability to drop my phone 52 times a day, every day. However, since I am dreaming let's pretend I am also getting an iPhone in addition to the office. This would be great because then I could use the Benjamin Moore Ben Color Capture App. This app lets you take a picture and then it will match colors in the pictures to actual paint colors. Give it a little shake and coordinating colors will pop up too.
Here is a little demo.....

Does anyone have this app? How is it?

Why Stop At Pillows?

Why stop with the tape on your pillows? Although this is a different type of tape it is the same idea....Via InStyle...I think?

What I Wish Field Trips Looked Like

The committee was meeting ALL night so I am going to start out with something short and sweet. I pulled this out of a magazine because it made me smile. As a child (and even an adult) this would have been my dream field trip- closets, organization, storage, clothes, shoes.....

A Quick Face Lift

There is nothing like a quick face lift, when it comes to pillows at least. Sometimes when clients want a quick change, or need a somewhat solid pillow but don't want it to be completely plain I will add a tape to the face.
Little designs add to a pillow can make a big difference...

We added a neutral trim to the front of this floral pillow for a client because we wanted to bring a little twist to a traditional fabric...
It doesn't have to be just pillows though, these chairs are inspiration for quick tape updates..
Love this slipcover from LEE. Em- I am thinking about you with this one....
MJ Trim is a great place to start when looking for a little something to add to pillows...

Of course it does not have to be a trim/braid/band, it can be ribbon too...

Which makes me think of this book, which brought me to this picture....

Which brought me to this, the cutest school house I have seen!
I know, somehow my post on quick fixes for pillows lead me to a cottage I adore....

What is your favorite quick fix?

In Bed With Leontine

Since I have been on a bed kick lately on Mondays I thought I would share with you all my favorite linen line, not that I can afford it but a girl can dream right?
Leontine dresses beds right out of my dreams...
How much do you love this bedskirt? In a way this post is a preview of what is coming tomorrow.....

Quiet Time- Money, Wealth, Riches

Image HERE
Today instead of going to church we watched this MESSAGE called questions about finances. It was something we needed to hear. Money rules our lives a lot more than it should. Either we are spending too much, worried about paying back school debt, not saving enough or constantly wanting more. The thing about wanting more is that you will never be satisfied. I am not saying that spending is evil, it is when it controls you that there is a problem. I love to shop, I work in an industry that always has me wanting something new, so this is something I struggle with all the time. So today I thought I would post some messages on money:

"Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have."
-Hebrews 13:5

"Whoever loves money never has money enough; whoever loves wealth is never satisfied with his income. This too is meaningless."
-Ecclesiastes 5:10

"Command those who are rich in this present world not to be arrogant nor to put their hope in wealth, which is so uncertain, but to put their hope in God, who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment. Command them to do good, to be rich in good deeds, and to be generous and willing to share. In this way they will lay up treasure for themselves as a firm foundation for the coming age, so that they may take hold of the life that is truly life."
-1 Timothy 6:17-19
"Do not wear yourself out to get rich; have the wisdom to show restraint. Cast but a glance at riches, and they are gone, for they will surely sprout wings and fly off to the sky like an eagle."-Proverbs 23:4-5

**I you ever want to hear great sermons that are a little different from the very traditional churches you should visit HERE. Pastor Chris really gets messages across in ways we have not found other places. I am not saying don't go to church or that there is anything wrong with traditional churches, I just know that people get to God through different ways, not all of them in the 4 walls of a church.
