I know it has been a long time coming, but now it is finally close! The movie version of Where The Wild Things Are by Maurice Sendak is set to be in theaters in October. Who didn't love this book as a child? Just the cover brings a smile to my face.
I don't know why it is such a cult classic, but for me I think it was/is the illustrations and the places an active imagination could/can take you. The book was even used as a trial run for a nursery project seen HERE.
As you can tell, this photo was taken in the VERY early brainstorming stages and we used a more colorful book, but don't be surprised if you see a version of that wall using this book in the near future...
