One of the first rooms I ever did was a nursery seen
HERE. Still to this day one of my favorite rooms I have worked on. Since then, the baby's abode has become one of my favorite rooms to do. There is something about making a home for a new baby that really excites me. I wanted to share with you one that I recently completed. The owners are a very fun couple who don't mind a little flair. When the owner came to me with this picture of Jenna Lyons child's room as a starting point I knew it would be a fun project.

I had been hesitant to post it since at first glance it looks very similiar, but after hearing
Celerie speak about not being afraid to incorporate others ideas I feel a lot better. Plus, the paint is the common theme but from there we went our own direction.

Love this artwork the client found on Etsy. Did I mention I have some very creative clients?

Just a peek at 2 more things in her house. First this chair. My client got it for next to NOTHING at Cottage Living's garage sale and we reupholsetered it. I have to give credit to the upholster on this one for doing such a great job. Before:

Second, these dining room chairs. I have confessed my obsession with velvet stripes before and here you have just one example. Although they look WAY better in person, you get the idea.

***I would like to state for the record all these pictures were taken by me, not a professional and the rooms were not staged. That is on my to-do list***
