Guess Who...

Since we are on shoes today, know where these are from?Target. Who knew? These aren't exactly your typical Target prices though, not bad but not Target. I wonder what the quality is like....

High & Low

Is it spring yet?Unfortunately not only is it not spring, but this girl has a hurt back and the doctor says I need to scale back the heels some. So I am looking at flat boots for the winter. Of course I can't stay away from Frye...

But I am open to any suggestions for "doctor approved while still good looking" boots.

Blog Fairy Tale

Once upon a time there was a young blogger, let's call her Marianne. She lived in this estate in Italy because her last name was Ferragamo. She spent her days floating through the light and airy rooms, dreaming of Italian leather.
And while she would change some things about the estate....
there was a lot to work with and she knew one day it would be LOVE LOVE LOVE.
Until she made some minor tweaks to the house to make it look more like her, she found LOVE LOVE LOVE in her closet, stocked with the likes of....
The End. Sigh.

Designer's Own Home- Phillip Gorrivan

I love to peek into designers homes and see how they surround themselves on a daily basis. Over Christmas I finally got to catch up on some reading and I was thrilled to see Elle Decor had Phillip Gorrivan, a favorite of mine since his fabric line for Highland Court. The sofa below is out of a fabric I have been dying to use since I first saw it, I love seeing it on a big piece. How cool are the bedroom ceilings?

Speaking of ceilings, this bedroom has a fabulous one, be sure to peek into the magazine. Goose feather pendant from Paris for a child's room? Yes please.
Love Love Love.
My love for heavy textured fabric is no secret, needless to say it was love at first sight when I saw these fabrics. Here are just a few.....

Quiet Time- You Can't Always Get What You Want But......

"You can't always get what you want
But if you try sometimes you just might find
You get what you need"- Rolling StonesWhat does a song by the Rolling Stones have to do with God? Well, that song popped in my mind when I read this in an e-mail:

God only gives three answers to prayer:
1. Yes!
2. Not Yet.

3. I Have Something Better In Mind.

I find that usually I get the second or third answer. While I do get impatient, looking back on the path that my life has taken so far I can clearly see God's plan at work. I need to be reminded of this more than I care to admit. It is easy to get frustrated sometimes when God's plan doesn't seem in sync with yours, but hold on to your faith and trust in what God has planned for you.

Til He Appeared And The Soul Felt Its Worth

Oh Holy Night is my favorite Christmas Carol. It is beautiful music and the lyrics capture what this Holiday is really about.

Something Sweet

Love this wreath, if I had a little girl I would hang it in her room.Image Martha Stewart.

Christmas Inspiration Picture- Can You Help Me Find The Source?

How wonderful is this picture? This was sent to me by my friend over at Beach Brights wondering if I could help with the source (we both want to see the rest of the house). It looks familiar but I can't place it at this moment, if you have any idea please let me know!

Thanks!

My One Day "Red" Wish List

Let me start this post out by saying that I honestly don't care about labels, where something came from, any of that, I couldn't care less. If I like it and it looks good on me I don't care if it is from Chanel or Target. Don't get me wrong, there are certain brands that always appeal to me, I appreciate good quality and I love classic pieces but I am not impressed simply by a label. It maybe different if I had an infinite budget as well, but I don't and really that is fine.

With that being said....some girls dream of the little blue box, but I see red. This will be my "one day" version of what I would love to see under the tree.
The Cartier Love Bracelet in Gold, no diamonds here. I know it is by no means new and probably on the cliche side but I love it, always have. You know how I feel about watches, love love love them. With all their pretty watches I am not sure why I am drawn to a leather one, but I am.
Okay, since we are day dreaming and if I buying any of these then clearly my bank balance is different than it is today, I think I want something really funky as well.
I know what you are thinking..."This girl has a thing for felines, and weird ones at that." Don't ask me why I think this one is so great, probably because it is such a conversation piece. At any rate I would wear like it nobody's business.

For more information or to buy a gift for a random blogger with a thing for big cats visit Cartier.

Carol Of The Bells

I post this picture last year here, but I had to repeat it. It is second favorite Holiday picture, after this one.Image House Beautiful

If The Door Fits

This door instantly drew me in, I knew I had to see the rest of the house.
Doesn't this look like a place you would want to spend the Holidays?
So simple, so welcoming.
I love a wreath on every window.
